This spring, PracticeLink released two new features to help you connect with providers.
PracticeLink Chat
PracticeLink Chat is a new enhancement that connects you to active job-seekers in real time through text chat, voice and video calls. It is fully integrated into PracticeLink RMS, keeping your communications within the recruitment platform you already know and love.
PL Chat lets candidates reach out to you while offering you the flexibility to manage your contacts and notifications; monitor messages through sent, delivered and read receipts; and share links and files directly in the chat.
How to get started
PL Chat is a free feature for all PracticeLink users. To get started, log in to access your PracticeLink Recruiter Dashboard and locate the blue bell in the upper right-hand corner of the page. When you receive a message, the bell will ring and show how many notifications are waiting for you. Simply click the bell to access PL Chat.
There are multiple ways to start a conversation with a candidate using PracticeLink Chat. From the candidate/applicant search results screen, click the chat icon under the actions column. Or, from the candidate/applicant profile, click the chat icon next to the ID#.
Until a candidate accepts your request to connect, you are only able to send them one message, so make it count! Your initial message sends a request to the candidate, which they can accept or decline. Once that message has been accepted, there’s no limit on the number of messages you can exchange. Candidates are also limited to one message until you choose to accept their request to connect.
To learn more about PL Chat, log in to your PracticeLink account, then select "Help" under the Resources navigation tab. There, you’ll find a full library of help videos, including "PracticeLink Chat - A walk-through for clients." Also feel free to reach out to your Regional Account Manager at any time for assistance.
PracticeLink Rapid Response Alert System
PracticeLink introduced the Rapid Response Alert System (RRA) to bring physicians, advanced practice providers and health care organizations together in times of crisis. The RRA system was created in response to COVID-19 but can be activated in the case of future needs, such as earthquakes, hurricanes, flooding, or other unforeseen crisis events.
More than 300,000 candidates registered with PracticeLink have the opportunity to opt in to receive a special job alert for each crisis.
By indicating that your job posting is a Rapid Response opening, opted-in candidates will receive a special alert letting them know about the availability of your opportunity. Additionally, registered providers and anonymous job seekers can search the PracticeLink Job Board by the specific crisis attribute of COVID-19.
How to get started
Contact your Regional Account Manager to have the Rapid Response System activated on your account. Once activated, simply add a new job or edit an existing job as you normally would, and select COVID-19 as the Rapid Response Type.
Select up to eight specialties for this opportunity to expand your reach. As an example, if you are posting a job in Internal Medicine, select specialties you can also accept, such as Family Medicine, General Practice and Internal Medicine - or whatever fits your needs. Complete the rest of your job posting as you normally would, and post the job.
